Applications

Herpes can be subdivided in the two main groups of herpes simplex and herpes zoster. Herpes simplex is subdivided into herpes simplex 1 (herpes labiales) and herpes simplex 2 (herpes genitales). The main regions affected by a herpes eruption in humans are indicated below:

It is well possible for herpes simplex 1 and 2 to occur on almost all parts of the body. Thus herpes simplex 1 might be diagnosed on the genitals or in the buttocks regions and herpes simplex 2 in the region of the mouth. Also on the upper part of the body herpes simplex 1 or 2 may be found. Your physician might also diagnose the herpes zoster virus on the upper part of your body without any further examination, although it is herpes simplex. Principally, the differentiation between herpes simplex 1 and 2 is possible only after viral investigations in the laboratory. However, this is not relevant for the Herpotherm treatment, because the stick is highly efficient in both cases. According to the state of knowledge, herpes zoster cannot be successfully treated using Herpotherm.
